Alongside the constant innovation in its comprehensive and market leading LED lighting products and technology, Ansell is constantly developing extra services and support mechanisms to make life as easy and convenient as possible for all its customers.

Product Quality Assured
Our relationship with customers is built on trust, and our customers know they can trust our products to be of the best quality, with warranties of up to seven years.

Ansell Lighting operates its own world-class, LIA-certified testing facilities, placing us among an elite group capable of comprehensive in-house testing. Every single product undergoes a rigorous pre-shipment testing process, ensuring brilliance, robustness, and endurance. Our investment in cutting-edge technology, including a state-of-the-art goniophotometer – the ‘Gonio Tunnel’ – enables precise lumen testing that rivals even the LIA’s own laboratories. This commitment to testing excellence ensures that every product, from components to prototypes, undergoes meticulous scrutiny.

Then, once the products arrive at Ansell HQ, we carry out further quality control checks for each order. This includes electrical and functional testing, as well as visual checks on the product and packaging.

We are so confident in our products that, in addition to product warranties of between three and seven years, we also offer an on-site warranty of up to three years on the majority of our products. This means that, with registration completed by the electrician or end user within 90 days of the product being purchased, in the event of a covered defect or malfunction we will provide on-site repair or replacement service at no additional cost, or, if preferred, you can use your own contractor and we’ll cover the bill (subject to terms and conditions).

Unparalleled Customer Support and Availability
Recognising the unique demands placed upon electrical wholesalers and contractors, Ansell Lighting has implemented a comprehensive and multifaceted support package.
We understand that contractors and wholesalers rely on excellent product availability, which is why our multi-million-pound stockholding in our Warrington and Belfast bases ensures that more than 500,000 products are in our warehouses, with an average 99% stock availability.

Following an increase in distribution capacity of 78% in Warrington last year, we have also implemented a new warehouse management system to support the multi-site operations, enhancing coordination across locations, optimising stock handling, and improving efficiency.

For wholesalers we provide innovative Point of Sale (POS) solutions, including a diverse range of lit and non-lit options, ceiling tiles, and OCTO-enabled displays, all crafted to create engaging in-store experiences that captivate customers and maximise sales potential. The range of POS materials is regularly refreshed to reflect the latest products and innovations.

To further enhance the purchasing experience, we launched ‘Ansell Online’, our dedicated purchasing portal for wholesale customers, which features enhanced search functionality, improved product categorisation, real-time stock checking, and access to exclusive offers and promotions, alongside the benefit of an extended 5pm cut-off for next-day delivery. To support wholesalers in their sales process and streamline operations, we’ve also introduced a new B2B project quoting system.

And for contractors we have developed a comprehensive service proposition, designed to provide proper, hands-on, practical help. Each element of the service addresses the common project pain points experienced by contractors, such as on-site issues, delivery logistics and post-installation support, with the aim of helping projects to run more smoothly.

Included in the package are streamlined pallet deliveries, which simplify on-site logistics. Instead of wasting valuable team hours sorting through mixed deliveries or chasing stock, pallets now arrive with clear, intelligent labelling that identifies both the contents and exactly which room or location they are destined for – meaning contractors can spend time on installation rather than logistics and phone calls.

Our On-Site Survey service enables our own trained electricians to visit project sites to provide direct support and advice for installations. They work closely with on-site teams to address challenges, offer guidance, and ensure the optimal implementation of Ansell Lighting products, and can liaise directly with Ansell’s in-house Lighting Design service to bridge the gap between concept and reality.

Innovation
Ansell Lighting is committed to continuous improvement and innovation. As part of our S19 product range we registered 11 patents, 4 designs, are launching 20 new products and 23 updated products to ensure that customers have access to the latest and most advanced lighting solutions.

Already in 2026 Ansell has launched a range of new luminaires, including two game-changer products designed to make life easier for contractors by making the products more adaptable.

The market-first Prism Pro XM modular downlight combines the trusted performance of Prism Pro downlighting with a smarter, more flexible design. Featuring a replaceable driver and light engine, the new product allows the individual components to be swapped quickly and easily in the event of a part failure or upgrade; extending product life, reducing waste and unnecessary whole-product replacement.

And the popular Tornado EVO linear range has been enhanced with XPRESS capability; a fast, clip-in system that enables emergency and microwave sensor functionality to be added quickly and easily to standard products – something which will be rolled out across other products in the coming months

Training, Development, and Support
Ansell Lighting has one of the largest industry Area Sales Teams on the road throughout the UK, ensuring that we are available to customers when they need us. We also offer free Continuing Professional Development (CPD) training sessions, to equip customers with the knowledge and expertise to confidently sell our products. To date, more than 400 professionals have participated in these sessions.

We also provide expert lighting design support, with a dedicated Ansell Lighting Design Team available to offer guidance and support from the initial enquiry to project completion. Our LIA-certified designers are on hand to assist with any project requirements.
